ZIMABILI’S MUSIC JOURNEY
Zimbali is a South African singer, songwriter, and stage performer. Zimbali’s real name is Oreletswe Mbali Boipelo Mashugane born in Johannesburg on the 2nd of June 1999. Zimbali is the daughter of Mr Manase Mashaba and Ms
Seipei Mashugane.
Zimbali is the first born in her family from 3 of her siblings, She attended her Primary and Secondary School at Reddam House in Bedfordview. And persuaded her higher
Education at the Rhodes University.
In the year 2003, Zimbali was only 4 years of age when she was involved in singing concerts.
In 2005, after Zimbali turned 7, she was ready to kickstart her Primary School at Reddam House. Fortunately, Reddam House is a school where Art and Culture are embraced.
At her school, the teachers identified Zimbali as a talented singer with a beautiful voice. Therefore, they always involved her in most musical activities, shows, dramas, Piano concerts, and anything that had to do with music and entertainment.
In Primary School, Zimbali won the National Eisteddfod Award while in grade 3. In high School, Zimbali continued participating in drama and music concerts and competitions.
In 2016, Zimbali won the Cultural Woman of the Year award.

In 2017, Zimbali won the Du Plesis Musical Award of the year for her Metric Valedictory.
In 2018, Zimbali recorded her debut single album “All Stars,” and the song was released in the same year. Still, in 2018, Zimbali was invited to perform at the Basadi Badituku, where she sang her song (All Stars) to the crowd.
In 2019, Zimbali decided to focus more on her education
until the year 2021, when she graduated in Politics
Philosophy and Economics at the Rhodes University. In 2021, Zimbali came straight from the university to record
her second single album, “Fantasy”, to be released in the same year. Zimbali is busy with more music projects, and she is preparing for more new surprises.
